The LBD on Steroids

Every women owns the staple “little black dress” but American Apparel takes the LBD to a whole other level. American Apparel’s Cotton Spandex Jersey Bandeau Dress is like putting on a little  Pixie magic because it is 15 dresses in one and comes in 23 colors. Magic indeed!

This dress can be worn over and over without anyone ever knowing because all you need to do is change the straps on top and it always looks like a new dress. You can have a fun one shouldered dress with a pretty bow on top like the photo at left or channel your inner pin-up — my own personal favorite — with the sweetheart neckline. Make sure to ask for the small booklet that shows you the endless ways to wear this little doozy.  

And it’s price? I don’t think $41 to 43 dollars can be beat. I do however have one minor disclaimer. If you’re planning on buying the sleek and sexy version, you might also want to invest in some Spanx. If you don’t already own a pair, these are amazing spandex “shaping garments” or y’know a girdle that suck in all your fat and smooth out your whole body and make you look perfect in any dress.

We think all you practical types — Funs and Classics — will like this dress while Organics and Smarts will appreciate its ingenuity.
