Best Pill Organizer Ever
I’ve always been envious of people who can use pill organizers. I’ve watched my mom, an Organic Structure, do it ever two weeks or so. Sorting out her myriad of medicines into their tiny slots. I’ve been able to do it from time to time, maybe two weeks or maybe even two months, which I think is the maximum time an Organic Freedom or Smart Freedom can do a tedious task that doesn’t offer much reward. And I’ve also seen, in envy, one of our celebrity client’s stash pre-filled zip lock baggies meds and vitamins she needs per day, assembled by one of her assistants. But I’m an Organic Freedom with three kids, my own business, and no resources for an assistant, so I make out my little stash of pills each night, over and over.
But not anymore. I’ve got so many monthly meds that even as the messy organizer of our Felix and Oscar team, even I was reaching the breaking point at the wasted time going to the pharmacy every weeek for whatever monthly med I had run out of. I was going to start looking into mail order pharmacies, but then I discovered PillPack. I didn’t want to say anything to you right away as I usually need to stick with something for over three months before I can confidently say it can work for the most routine averse among our Pixie Organizing Personalities. But this was just too damn cool to not say anything, and even if I don’t stick with it, the rest of you more naturally organized types with lots of pills needed to know about it as it will definitely make your life easier.
I went online, gave them my pharmacy, put in all my meds, as well as my vitamins, and after a few trials and errors getting a few new refills from my doctor, I got a neat little box with a dispenser for all my medications and supplements. They managed all the transfers much better than Rite-Aid did when I dumped Walgreens recently. PillPack separates my morning ones from night, and all I had to do was organize it ONCE online! There were a few glitches, like they don’t have all known supplements yet, and one of my “take as needed” meds didn’t arrive with the package but they’re sending it for Saturday delivery tomorrow. So it’s a new service, very responsive as a result, and definitely worth checking out! And yes Mom, they take Medicare.
