Homey Stuff for Stockings
Now we are crazy jealous of Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP e-newsletter, because, well, she’s rich, famous, has 500,000 subscribers and doesn’t have to worry about money, um, at all. And so we want to hate her ideas for Christmas gifts, but dammit. They’re pretty good. Like these funky paper coasters for $20 bucks. Iomoi. They have monogrammed glass coasters versions for $26 each. There is tons of cool monogrammed stuff at this site. Tons of cool stuff.
So GP gave us the idea for good home and kitchen gadgets to stuff in stockings. Maybe one of those tiny screwdrivers that are indispensable once you have children (all battery toys are firmly screwed in with impossibly tiny screws.) or random kitchen gadgets like whisks or spatulas? Or frankly, garlic presses. Used one for the first time this Thanksgiving and was grateful that someone had stuffed it in my stocking at some point. (Oh and the little Christmas spatulas Santa gave me last year, came in handy around Thanksgiving when all the spatulas had starchy vegetables on them.)
So. Coasters, spatulas, garlic presses, screwdrivers, Christmassy towels, bottle opener, etc…
