Apples to Apples

Anthropologie has a lot unique pieces that look like they can be worn everyday, while the outfits in the catalogue always look effortless deep down you  know it wasn’t effortless and you know it took a trained stylist a long time to find that  perfect yet over priced cardigan to throw over everything from a fabulous dress to tailored jeans.  

Well I’m gonna let you in on a little secret, Anthropologie is owned by the same people as Urban Outfitters.  Urban Outfitters has the same style clothing for a whole lot less. Thats right, all those timeless hard found items—you paid too much. Why is it that using the word blouse instead top can instantly double a garmet’s price.

A huge trend for this coming spring is crochet and lace, both Anthropologie and Urban outfitters offer this look. Both stores have nice things but compare this $138 blouse from Anthropologie(bottom right photo) to this lace top from Urban Outfitters for $48(top left photo). Another great thing about Urban Outfitters is that they always have a sale area and nice things at as low at 9.99.
