Kate has this one & always gets compliments Kate loves these bags and has at least three of them as work totes. On days when I’m not into being conservative and traditional, I dig the quirky authenticity of them. They’re durable and reasonably priced. These BlueQ Shoppers are probably best summed up as the “anti-LL Bean” tote bag.

Like the LL Bean tote bag they are durable with a little shape but they’re light and fold compact. But, instead of coordinating colors they have hilarious sayings and/or cool, hip designs. Even better, the fabric is tarp, so it’s water proof. They’re made from 95% post-consumer material, which unless you’re fluent in eco-ranger translates to “made from 95% recycled stuff” and then I suppose 5% new stuff? They also donate 1% of sales to the Nature Conservancy. Their motto is “Protecting Nature, Preserving Life”— can’t beat helping that cause.

They also have lots of other funny bags. My favorite being Vinnie’s Vinyl Tampon Case because I could just envision whipping that out at the office for a journey to the bathroom. I love a subtle messageIt’s just the subtle message I like to deliver to colleagues and other members of polite society. It says “Yah, that’s right. I’ve got my period. You gotta fracking problem with it?” Actually, that is something Kate WOULD say to people in the office. No wonder Kate loves this company so much. Perfect for Organic Freedoms and their personality compadres everywhere.
