Chicken Soup for the Soul and the Sniffles
I find it highly suspicious that Kelly scheduled this PixieTip topic the week I’m recovering from my second virus of the season. I think she has a sixth sense or some kind of sister telepathy. But is there anything better than chicken soup when you’re sick? I really actually dislike soup, but the minute I’m stuffed up and coughing it’s the only thing I want. Here in the Organic Freedom/Smart Freedom Sabo household we tend to get a good can from Campbells and leave it at that. I actually had a couple of days at the Cleveland Clinic when I was sick, so grabbed some of their chicken soup from the Au Bon Pain they have there. It’s good. But for you Classics and Funs who actually like to go to all the trouble of making chicken soup when it’s so darn easy to just buy it pre-made, I found a great recipe for you. If you’re like me, rest, drink lots of water, and watch the X-Files mythology so you can know what’s going on in the new series, and click on the image on the left and get some soup. The truth (about chicken soup) is out there.
Here’s a good crockpot recipe that will work best for Classics, Organic Structures and Smart Structures:
