Dear Katie & Kelly: I’m an Organic Freedom hopelessly behind in making family photo albums — amongst other things — as in I’m so behind, my kids are almost reaching their teen years and I’ve made exactly zero albums or memory books.

Dear Photo Failure: Classics are annoyingly the best at this whole photo album thing and everybody else falls somewhere in between them and you. Organic Freedoms, well, you’re not the worst but it’s definitely tough for you to get it together. Making albums can be such an overwhelming task that you put it off and then the task just grows and grows leading to more and more putting it off until you give up. Our advice? Simplify and let go. Throw together a book online with some recent photos. Don’t go back in time. But, if you find old photos just throw them in the present tense, who cares? You’re not being graded. It doesn’t have to be perfect or chronologically accurate to be fun to flip through. The high end solution? Hire someone to do it perfectly for you. These photos curators exist and are good but alas are not cheap.

All our best: Katie & Kelly
