Get Your Game Apps On

I go through a lot of games on my iPhone that’s one of the reasons I will rarely pay for them. Like a typical Organic Freedom, I play them nonstop for a month and then I never touch them again, but I have found a few that I always come back to and are worth the money.  

Angry Birds is a game for all age ranges and is endless fun. I have 8 year old cousins who are obsessed with this game and I have seen 50 year old businessmen playing it on their way to work. Is there anything better than launching a bird in a sling shot aimed at a structure where your target is a bunch of pigs? You can buy the free version, but if you upgrade you have more levels and more fun — all for just 99¢!

My next favorite is Pictureka! The game’s motto, “Find it fast, find it first” will make you want to do just that with. It’s a classic game that I never grow tired of. There are so many levels and always new stuff to find. You can get the app for only $1.99 and have fun where ever you go. There’s also a board game version if you want to get the whole family involved with some old fashioned fun.

Akinator is a new app that amazes me more and more every time I use it. It’s kind of like a guessing game. Your job is to think of a famous person and the Akinator’s genie will guess who it is. It’s almost always dead on. I keep coming back to it because I HAVE to to stump him, ahem and have yet to do so. This app will run you $1.99.  

We really think games are great for all personality types. Even if you’re not naturally inclined to games, they can challenge your brain in a new way. And what’s great about the App games is that they’re so portable and you can pause them and come right back or come back days later.
