Happy Good Friday & Passover
I hesitated when writing “Happy” in today’s title because it’s likely in poor taste to put the word happy in front of a day that commemorates an individual’s death even if eventually there’s a happy ending. Then of course, Passover has a happy ending but the middle part is a bit grim what with the wrath of God being delivered in the forms of plagues upon the Egyptians. It’s kind of more of a “Thank God!” type holiday. I’m not sure about Good Friday, more of a “So sorry for your loss” holiday with a “At least you have the day off and Easter will be here before you know it” kind of holiday. I think I’ll just say, “Happy Spring!”
