Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

When I was in Junior High I used to compete in the Martin Luther King Day Speech Competition. Twice I came in third place and was proud as hell. It’s too bad that we don’t have such masterful orators on the political scene today. I guess the issues we have pressing today aren’t as in need of someone who can actually give a good speech as the last 12 years of the presidency can attest! So today we rest and celebrate one of the most influential men of the 20th century. We are a better and more just country because of him. Thank you.
