This was Kate’s PixieTip idea and to be honest, I was hesitant to have it as a tip because I didn’t really get what was “easy” about magnetic changeable jewelry. Then I visited the website and realized what she was talking about. This isn’t fine jewelry, it’s fun.

Magnabilities Marbled PendantEssentially you a buy base pieces of jewelry — a pendant and a chain — and then you can have endless fun with what’s in the center as it’s all magnetized. It’s a way to make costume jewelry more functional. You can have a cool piece to go with an outfit or get your quirky side on and wear a festive holiday pendant.

Magnabilities Thanksgiving Themed PendantWhile this makes jewelry more functional — usually a quality Classics love — don’t think this is for Classics. I looked through the website and I can’t honestly say I would buy and wear these necklace pendants. But, I can picture Kate, Organic Freedom, or my mom, Organic Structure, buying them and making it work. There are people in this world who can wear “Got Turkey?” necklaces to Thanksgiving dinner and then there are those like me who can’t pull it off. I mean if I’m dressing for Thanksgiving dinner, I try to channel Princess Grace or Jackie O. I’m not sure who this channels but they’re probably more whimsical than me.

Uncommon Goods Magnetic NecklaceAnother form of magnetic changeable necklaces that is a little funkier and edgy so also not for Classics nor probably for conservative Smarts. These are necklaces that change shapes because they’re magnetic. Shapeshifters if you will. This seems up the alley of Organics and maybe some Funs.
