My favorite finest cards are the ones who have bows laced through paper so thick it could be a shoe, with a real photograph (who even has those anymore) taped on the front and don’t get me started on the beauty of lined envelopes. If you don’t have a great local store then Fine Stationery is your best bet. William Arthur, Crane’s, all the old school boys are here, and my goodness they’re pretty.

This is also a great site for other stationery needs like engraved invitations, letterhead, business cards etc. (although Minted, Tiny Prints, Cardstore, and Snapfish also offer a full array of stationery needs.) But Fine Stationery has, well, fine stationery. You can search their cards by paper weight or price and by brand names, so if you only use Crane’s, you only get Crane’s.

Organics might find the selection lacking and the designs a little too pedestrian. They’ve gotten better, but so have the upstarts like Tiny Prints and Minted. But Smarts will love the quality, Classics will love the tradition. If a Fun is into holiday cards, they will love knowing they can trust the quality of their tried, touched and trusted brands.

BEST FOR CLASSICs and SMARTs

Good for Funs
