Print Pandemonium
This season when it comes to prints the bolder the better and yes this is the perfect way to put your own personal “Fun” touch on an outfit. Print Pandemonium is what our favorite stylist Lani Rosenstock Inlander calls it and while I am no Fun, but as an Organic Freedom I’m always a bit envious of the Fun’s casual ability to take on these trends because they went on some fabulous trip to the far East and came back with this bag. So, while I have not left this continent yet, I am all about this trend. Today’s tip is all about how you can get your hands on this tip and maybe even be charitable.
A scarf is for the more conservative ladies, like Classics or Smarts who aren’t quite ready for a big piece of print, whether it be a dress or shirt. Perfect for those cool summer nights when you need a physical warm up, they also add a little flare to otherwise staid outfits.
If you’re still not ready for that walk on the Fun side, then try out a purse with big bold print. The bag pictured above is from the Bluma Project purse. Not only will you be able to dip your toe into this trend, you’ll also be helping an amazing cause. This company helps woman in Africa obtain sustainable wages by training them in advanced jewelry design, right now they are located in Ghana and Rwanda.
Now, if you’re ready to jump into this trend full on, then this tribal print is in full swing. This versatile Parker dress can take you any where you need to be this summer from a walk in the blazing heat in some flip flops to a night out on the town with a pair of sling backs. If you’re not exactly keen on the tribal Lani says the best thing about this print panemonium is that anything goes, you can really mix it up and put your only personal flare on any look.
