Quivering in the Cold

We’re kicking off Art Week with a new website that allows you to purchase one of a kind artwork online, ArtQuiver. It’s not the first place to sell original artwork online but it seems like one of the coolest — free shipping, free returns and a lifetime return policy. I mean, does it get any easier than that when buying one-of-a-kind art?

Maybe it gets easier if you’re a multi-millionaire working with an art curator or decorator who does all of this for you. But, for the rest of us, who don’t have these luxuries, this website recreates the art curator experience. It’s for people who have had a modicum of success and want to adorn their walls with something beyond framed posters and starving artist finds from travels abroad.

You can search by Style, Subject, Price ($400-$20,000), Size, Medium or Color. Personality type wise, I think it goes across the spectrum and is a great tool for all types. The only caveat is that Funs, Organic Freedoms, and Smart Freedoms might find themselves pressured for time if they end up wanting to return. The fine print for free returns is that you must do so within 14 days. If you pass this barrier then you only get a gallery credit. This is true for lifetime returns where the limit is 5 pieces per year or 25 over a lifetime.
