The Librarian Organizer

This last Better Homes and Garden Organizing type is called the Librarian and this is the traditional Classic Pixie (SJ).

• Detailed and a taskmaster
• Energetic
• A perfectionist, sometimes to a fault

This sounds a lot like my little sister, except for that “perfectionist” part. Classics (SJs) get a bad rap with the “obsessive-compulsive” label, and while it is true they cannot rest until the work is done, perfectionism is a prejudicial label that is simply not true of this type.  Classics are taskmasters, and as such they like to get things done no matter what. And so, if they do have a fault — which many will protest —  it is the shortcuts they take to accomplish these goals.

If any thing, the perfectionists tend to be the types who have trouble staying on task  — Funs (SPs), Organic Freedoms (NFPs) and Smart Freedoms (NTPs). So the solutions that BHG suggests for these types are probably better for these types who have trouble finishing projects that aren’t perfect.
