The Parsifal Pursuit
What kind of doting daughters (and sisters) would we be if we didn’t plug our dad’s (and brother’s) second book, The Parsifal Pursuit, in their now award winning Winston Churchill Thriller series. I’d praise it myself but then you might not believe me. So here’s praise from the real deal, Les Roberts, author of The Cleveland Gray and The Strange Death of Father Candy:
Winston Churchill meets Indiana Jones! The triumvirate of protagonists in The Parsifal Pursuit are sexy, adventuresome, imaginative and endlessly fascinating. You’ll not put this one down until it’s over—and then maybe read it again.
I mean, really, after reading THAT review if you don’t order it for your August vacation (Click here) you’re either crazy or have no sense of adventure and I seriously question your reading taste. But, the other reason to read it is that you’ll learn all about history without having to read a boring history book. Plus you’ll feel super smart the next time you’re at a dinner party and someone mentions “Parsifal” or “Longinus” and you actually get the reference instead of just pretending. Or is that only my husband who’d never heard of the Parsifal Legend or didn’t know who Longinus was and what he’d done?? Non history majors are such bores.
Now if you’re wondering what this has to do with personality type, in fact very little. I’m simply plugging my dad and brother’s book BUT I do feel compelled to mention that a Fun (SP) would just about be the only personality type to thrive on the level of adventure in these books. In general, reluctant protaganists in thriller type series such as this one must be Smarts (NT) or Classics (SJ). I feel like Organics would move hell or high water to NOT get involved in such stressful unharmonious activities.
