Why Wait, When There’s Weight Watchers?

As an Organic Freedom, I think Weight Watchers is like “new math.” What is the point? But extroverted types might like the camaraderie in meetings (a.k.a. peer pressure), as well as the harmony types (Classic Freedom, Fun Freedom, Organics).  My mom (an Organic Structure) has never been a huge exercise fan but her one constant activity for years has been playing tennis with friends and then eating together afterwards. Harmony types don’t like letting friends down.

More traditional types who thrive on organizing their outside world with lists and schedules (Classics, Organic Structure, Smart Structure) will do well with the Weight Watchers program because it has structure, a system to learn and then use, you can keep track of your calories through their point system, and are reinforced through peer pressure if you choose that plan. The reason that it’s such a successful program is that it appeals to the largest portion of the population.

I think it might be too stifling & onerous for Funs and also a waste of their money, especially when they can do it their way and just count up the calories on their own. Ditto for Organic Freedoms and Smart Freedoms. We don’t need to structure our outer world like Classics and Organic Structures & Smart Structures because we have an internal structure that while not always apparent from the outside, is strong as hell on the inside.

Best for Classics and Good for Organic Structures and Smart Structures
